Here I'd like to talk about feet. Ever since when I was very young and saw those posters where the bottoms of people's feet are shown to imply what sort of sexual position they are in, I've been fascinated with the idea of feet, detached from the body, as a symbol of something deeper and meaningful. My foot fetish studies became even more exciting when I decided to add Mexican food in the mix. In this particular series of photos I explore the notion of feet and burritos as symbols for mystical, erotic processes. This is only the "tip of the taco" of my observations and methods of creative expression but will hopefully give you a "taste" (hahahaa) of what I mean. The foot is such a beautiful, useful part of the body, with the way it takes us where we want to go, stepping on all obstacles before us and leading us into greater and greater life challenges. Feet have obvious usefulness in creating meaningful metaphors, many of which can be quite sexual and profoundly arousing.
